This is a great place that doesn't attract the undesirables. Only criticism is music rather loud on Thursday nights when you're tryingto have a conversation.

Was really surprised to get such an excellent meal in a wine bar. Started off with a superb margerita cocktail, the had best moules a la mariniere i've had in years, then a fantastic Thai green curry. Wine was perfect too.

Visit regularly with my wife, especially Friday nights. Salmon fishcakes never disappoint! Not surprising that it's sometimes hard to book a table unless well in advance but staff have always gone out of their way to accommodate us. Great selection of live bands. Keep up the good work guys.

i recently went to the wine bar on a groovy revolution night! the atmosphere was amazing and even though the place was packed out the friendly staff found time to make sure we had everything we needed. we have booked well in advance for over christmas as i was told they are full nearly every wed thurs and fri in december! im not surprised with food, service and a fantastic atmosphere like that

I had a lovely meal in the wine bar last week, the food was superb i especially enjoyed the salmon fishcakes and my girlfriend thought that her steak was the best she had ever tasted. The staff were especially friendly and attentive, they made our evening. The music by New Generation made our evening there was a lively and exciting atmosphere. I would recommend The Knutsford Wine bar to anyone and everyone by far the best night out in Knutsford!

Food is good, serivce is always pleasant and the place is well decorated. Anyone who grumbles about the KWB is missing the point. It is a nice 30/40 something place. Never not enjoyed a night out there.

i'm sorry but i feel i have to defend the wine bar. I go to the wine bar a couple of times a month and i have to say i have never had a bad meal. The service is great especially from such a youthful team and manager. And the (not so new) owners attention to detail is always of the same high standard. band nights seem to be getting busier and busier and we are having to book a week in advance for friday and saturday nights. I find it crazy that such a fine establishment can draw such bad comments. Keep up the good work KWB

Stop Stop, you people have too much time on your hands! everyone has bad days.. I do think the lat 2 reviews of this excellent pleasure palace are way off mark. Lighten up, if you like quick meals with maximum attention from staff try McDonalds, they even do bagels now for your ever demanding palette. Hit the Knutsford wine bar on a weekend with the music and eclectic mix of nice down to earth folk, this is what life is all about! On the other hand maybe dont come , ya may end up enjoying yourself and that would never do would it?. top gaff, young team doing great. Remember being young? Andi

Visited Knutsford Wine Bar last night for a meal and listen to the band. Barry James was amazing, good to see him back in the wine bar, delicious oven baked langoustines and fabulous atmosphere, glad to hear they have a late licence from end November - will def be returning, certainly the place to be for good bands and great food!

Wow first but definatly not the last visit. the music was amazing the waitress really knew her stuff and the cocktails were divine!!! i had the seabass and martin had the KWB burger both were fantastic. really glad we booked as it was packed even on a thursday. well done to the whole team at the winebar who made our 6mth anniverserary so enjoyable and special.

The live music here is of a very high standard and means that the atmosphere is always very special. The service and general feel of the place is wonderful.. the chocolate fondu is beautiful!..added bonus is the tasty men about..eye candy galore..esp at the weekend!

It's back! Just how it used to be, great music every Thursday and Friday night, more staff who are now well presented and more efficient, the wine bar is so much brighter and cleaner with new artwork and a sense of pride, new toilets (all important for us ladies!!) - the new owners are there 24/7 and finally, someone has given the residents of Knutsford their home back!

We had an absolutley fantastic evening last Thursday. The meal was superb, the wine excellent, the staff were so friendly. The night was made extra special by the entertainment for the evening 'The Boston Revue' duo. We shall definately return.

I have dinned at the Knutsford Wine bar on a number of occasions since the turn of the year, i has improved greatly since i paid a visit in May 2004, i vowed never to return!! the new manager has done a wonderfull job and has easily made the winebar the best place in Knutsforrd for food and service, the site is so much cleaner since my first visit. this venue comes highly recommended.
